Remarks:Obelisk is a tall, four-sided, narrow tapering monument which ends in a pyramid-like shape or pyramidion at the top. Originally they were called tekhenu by the builders, the Ancient Egyptians. Later, the Greek term;obeliskos' to describe them, and this word passed into Latin and ultimately English.
Symbol of the ancient world - with their beginnings in Egypt. The obelisk is indigenous to the cultures of Egypt, South American and Mexico.
Some experts on crystals considers obelisks to be designed to release the built up energies beneath the crust of the earth. Obelisks have been strategically placed in the earth to slowly dissipate and energy build up that could cause destruction. The shape maintains the balance of earth energy by taking the stored energies and releasing them nto the atomosphere to be circulated around the globe.

Obelisks played a vital role in their religion and were prominent in the architecture of the ancient Egyptians, who placed them in pairs at the entrance of the temples. Many obelisks are now dispersed around the world, and fewer than half of them remain in Egypt.
