Remarks：Obsidian is a volcanic, a glassy black rock, mainly consists of silica. The rapid cool down speed of the volcanic made it difficult to crystalize. That's why it's amorphous. Can have different colour other than black. Will show iridescense when cut into cabachons, named as "iridescense obsidian"
Other types of obsidians including: Apache Tears, Spider Web Obsidian, Snowflake Obsidian, Golden Sheen Obsidian, Silver Sheen Obsidian.
Special Optical Effect：Rainbow Effect (Iridescence), rainbow-like reflection shown when view under light. Obsidian contain rounded or elongated bubbles or tiny, parallel needle-like crystals, some may contain magnetite nanoparticles that creating thin-film interference, thus causes the iridescence.
